Digital camera for christmas

    I'm really interested in photography and would like to get a digital camera for christmas. Problem is i don't know what to buy and "santys" budget is limited to around [SIZE=-1] €360. I'm leaning towards the Sony Cybershot DSC-T200 is this a good camera for a beginner???.

    check out http://www.dpreview.com for reviews on the camera.

    If you plan to get more into photography maybe check out a second digital SLR or stretch to a Nikon D40 or Canon 400d or similar. Though a bit bulkier than a point and shoot.
