    bit of help needed.i have sky+ and last nite i decided to move my tv stand and when i was taking the tv off it i didnt unplug the cable from the tv for sky .the cable popped out leaving the the metal bit in the tv plug.when i took it out and put it back together the reception is slightly poorer than before.anyway of fixing this or do i need a new cable.it not a huge difference just can notice it when its pointed out

    I suppose some wires came loose. I wouldn't know how to fix -- it must be pretty fiddly with so many wires though.

    Have a look in the shops for a fully-wired scart (all 21 pins) if you want a replacement.

    its just the cable that runs from the sky box to the tv sky set it up.i know absolutly nothing tvs/sky.wud a scart cable make much difference.where wud the best place to buy one.or wots the best way to set it up the tv is a sony bravia if that makes any difference.sorry if these a dump Q's dont a have a clue

    Yes a scart cable would make a big difference , connect it to av1 on the tv and set the picture to rgb on the digibox. It will also give you stereo sound.

    i did all that tony cheers.seems to have done the trick.one thing i noticed is the screen size changes between different stations some r going widescreen others r smart can i set this to stay on one type.

    sorted it out set it to stay wide.thanks for the help

    Try adjusting the picture settings on both the digibox and the tv

    The screen shape and size SHOULD change as you can't display 16:9 and 4:3 without changing. If it always fills the screen, then one type of picture is getting cropped or stretched.

    It was actually doing the correct thing by changing!!!!!
