As the title says, is there a punchbag that sits on a stand as opposed to hanging from the roof/wall ?

the problem is the noise !!!
you can rule out a speed-bag ,.... i used to be able to hear the speed-bag rocking 2 streets away from the gym i used to go to.

a double-end is also quite noisey,....... try to find something solid rather than the "toy" bags that come on stands.

ill get back to you with an idea when the clouds clear in my mind...
