    I've been reading through a load of posts but I'm a bit lost as to some of the abreviations used.

    Is there a search function or a sticky somewhere I missed.

    eg.

    Nit, Lag, Tag etc...

    Fish I understand:o

    http://www.pokerpages.com/pokerinfo/glossary/glossary-a.htm

    Lag = Loose + Aggressive
    Tag = Tight + Aggressive
    Nit = Tight person who only puts money in with the nuts or near nuts.

    Nit=very tight player, only raises with the nuts, plays very few hands.#

    Lag. Loose Aggressive player.

    Tag=Tight Aggressive player.

    Pahud stats

    Pahud= PokerAce Heads up display.

    14 is his Vpip, voluntarily put $in pot. i.e. how loose they are, how many pots they play.
    10 is his pre flop raise %, i.e. this player plays 14% of hands and raises 10% of hands. So he rarely limps.

    5.33 is his aggression factor how many times he bets and raises as opposed to checks and calls, the higher the figure the more bets and raising he is doing.

    over 136 hands is the sample space of these stats.

    I think.

    In fairness, Reggie got it first yesterday.

    LOL, both threads the OP started had at least one 'isopropanol' reply.
