The truth hurts. :/ From rte.ie/business
A report from the European Consumer Centre has found that Irish airlines are the most complained about in Europe.

The report, which is being launched in Brussels today, reveals that Irish airlines are responsible for almost a quarter of all complaints by airline passengers.

For the second year in a row, Irish airlines are the most complained about in Europe, according to the report by the ECC.

It also found that Irish passengers made more complaints against airlines in 2007 than any other nationality in Europe. This is an increase on the previous year, when Irish people came seventh on the list.

The main issues for airline passengers were in relation to lost luggage, cancelled flights and delays.

The ECC said the report proves that existing passenger rights' legislation is too vague and is not being properly enforced.

ECC Ireland director Tina Leonard said the report proved that not much had changed during the last year but that she was hopeful that 2008 would be different.

Globespan were at the top of the percentile table for complaints. They had TWO complaints for just over 10,000 passengers.

    The numbers game eh :D

Cant believe the IAA had the balls to come out with that stat in fairness, a joke :o

Given Globespan's well publicised troubles over the Summer that is difficult to believe.

Not so according to Ryanair. I love the way they twist the figures about to make themselves out to be best. :)http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/news.php?yr=07&month=dec&story=gen-en-061207

I would imagine the real reason why Ryanair has such a low complaint rate is because it's such a hassle to contact them in the first place.
