    ok

    1. i have got a little nixer going buying 2nd hand SKY digiboxes and new dishes and off ebay and selling them on to people for the free BBC/ITV channels. I am trying to increase my margin. Firstly where would get a hold of a sky dish and cam on the cheap. is there a wholesaler i may be able to talk to. The same question applies to the 2nd hand digi boxes.

I prefer the Sky boxes due to the simplicity of the EPG and everyone familiarity to it . Plus if they want to get more channels they can just phone up Sky for a card.

    2. Is it true the BBC/ITV are going to launch their own boxes with their own EPG software and would these be available in Ireland and work here.

    3. how would one go about getting Sky cards which allow the reception of channel 4/5 .
I have one such card but mine was secured when the BBC were paying sky to supple the cards.

I dunno if many wholesalers would be interested if you don't have a VAT no. No harm in trying them I suppose. I don't know of any wholesalers of used Sky STB's, and would've thought eBay was best bet (or Buy & Sell).

    2. Yes, BBC/ITV seem to be having STB's with their own EPG software, for interactive and digital text features. I doubt if they'll be available in Ireland, though again, I'd say they'll not be hard to get from UK outlets. I'd expect them to work here.

    3. The FTV/Freesat From Sky cards can be got from a few places, though can be expensive. Satone.tv used to be a good enough source, though I see that things have changed and you need a UK address to order one.
