Following on from Portmarnock chat there now (or soon will be) these ranges:
    Kinsealy Grange
    Fingal (beside airport)
    Old Portmarnock
    Feltrim Rd.
All within 3 kms of each other!!!!!!!
With Blanchardstown and the Open closing - anyone know what's going on?
Who is going to use all these??
Bound to be good deals for us users when the dust settles!

From a purely selfish point of view, i'm hoping the addition of the new range will make the rest a bit quieter.

It'll be interesting to see how they all get on over the coming months though. The North West of Dublin is a bit of a golfing haven so i'd imagine they'll all do ok.

Yeah, but if you had made your money and identified a need for a range near the airport and sunk every last cent into it you'd be pee'd off if someone else did exactly the same half a mile away! Where were the planners? Sleeping? Or maybe they think this is a great idea!
I've no interest BTW, just a curious bystander

Just remember too, that Aer Rianta have a boycott on whats built near the airport too... Them carparks are a hazard to incoming jets I tell ya!! :D

Like Graeme said, it was probably some guy who was sick of queuing at one of the ranges. I used to use the one near be airport, I was working in Santry at the time, and the only time it was reasonable to get out to it, was right after work. By 6:15 it was packed out, by 7... forget it...
