cao points?

    what does the "#" mean in front of the points for courses on the cao list??

    i know it means interview/portfolio but how does the points work, ive seen some art & design lookin for like #800, ,how many points are awarded for the interview etc...

    It depends on the college tbh.
    This I know,
    IADT gives max 600 for its portfolio.
    DIT gives 100 for interviews, and 100 for suitability test.

    It's course specific afaik. So go to the website of the college/institute in question and look up the course for information. Or you could go to Qualifax.ie and look up the course - usually there's a link to the appropriate page near the top.
