    now thinking about going to either new jersey where id have a job in my uncles irish pub that he manages anyone know wat the nitelife is like in new jersey? but also thinking bout goin to new york? id be on my own in new york has anybody done this and what did they think of it? is it easy to meet people in new york?any chance sumone can reply to my thread this time! ;)

    Ive never done a J1 in New York but im thinking about going over alone this summer too. Ive been to New York a few time on holidays and loved it. Ive heard people say theres an area in Queens where most Irish people stay.

    Theres a long thread on page 2 of this forum on doing a J1 in New York which ive been finding pretty useful. Sorry cant be more helpful :)
