    played about 10 days of full ring and while i set up a new DB for this PT still imported some of the full ring games into my 6max DB.
    Is there a way to remove these hands from my 6 max DB and what to do to stop this happening again ?

    On the automatic import screen there is a tick box that says "treat all games as 6-max"
    Uncheck that and you should be fine.

    As for the existing hands, I would probably clear the DB and import the files again if it were me. I imagine that you have moved the processed files to some location. If so just put them back in your HH folder and reimport

    you should be able to purge the sessions, go to the utilities menu, database maintenance and options, and go through the options there.

    purge the full-ring sessions, As PL said above,
    then the HHs of the session from the history folder or else PT will reimport it
