Hey guys bear with me on this one

I'm repeating 2nd year college in Dublin. I dropped out in first year back home and started a new course up here. Passed 1st year, just about and last year I never attended any lectures. This years the same, 1st semester nearly over and I'm Fcked. Failed continous assesment(worth 50%). It's not that I dont like the course, I'm interested in the subjects. Not being big headed but I am quite smart. The thing is I still dont know if I'm ready for it. I never ever go in. Is it laziness, maybe a social phobia?? I feel most comfortable in my room messing about online, freedom. Although I am heavily involved in a club yet I have zero friends up here.

I paid fees start of year and for what, nothing. I had to take out a loan for the fees and now its beginning to take its toll. Plus accommadation up here is very pricey and every week I seem to have absolutly no money(at the moment very true). I'm thinking should I leave college for a year or two when I think I'm ready I'm not sure? I feel like I can't talk to people about it, mainly my parents who would go ballistic if they thought I wasnt attending lectures yet again.

I have a part time job for the weekends back home and I actually like it, get on with all the staff, have a laugh etc. I go out nearly every saturday night with my mates...never go out up here as I've nobody to go out with. I feel I can get on with anyone. I hear stories from my mates about the mad week they just had in college meanwhile mine was spent in my room.

For me college life isn't what it's cracked up to be.
