Ok, Where exactly do you buy propane. Looking for specific stores here in the Dublin area. Tried a few hardware stores and no luck. I'm think a plumbing suppliers would have it.

    Hey Guys,

A quick question about the propane. I have a GBB pistol. (KJW M9) When I bought it from Shiva I got the 134a gas with it. Gas has since run out. Can i use this GBB with propane from the likes of B&Q ? If so is it regular propane ?
    Do I need a special adapter ?

I don't mind buying the gas from Shiva but i'd rather include it with a bigger order which I probably won't be in a position to do till the New Year.

Sorry if its a newb question. I'm more used to battery operated AEG's. Not too aufait with the Gas.

    Thanks,

    Heckler

Yes you can use Propane in the KJW M9 no problem. You'll need the Airsoft Inovations propane adapter though. Shiva has them I think.

Thanks for that Faich. Thats the rub though. I was hoping to be able to pick up some gas and use straight off. If I have to order the adapter I might as well order the gas. Just the once though, Get the adapter from Shiva and then use regular propane. Is there a big difference between 134a and regular propane ?

Propane will give you about a 40-60 fps increase depending on the pistol. My KJW P226 fires about 310fps with .2's on propane. I'd say it'd do about 240-250 on 134a.

You got to make sure it's not a propane/butane mix. Most gas canisters sold in camping stores are propane/butane and it isn't great for GBB's
