Decided to update the firmware on my SE W850i.

Followed all the steps and now my phone isn't recognising my SIM CARD anymore.

    Anybody any ideas?

Blah. Figured it out. I updated it with a non Irish firmware and ended up re-locking the phone. :(

Was the phone bought simfree or did you have it unlocked?
If bought simfree it shouldnt relock
If it was locked and you had it unlocked, then it will relock after upgrading the firmware, even if you used the operator firmware as the unlock is done using a patched firmware file

Bought it locked to T-Mobile off Ebay as I knew it would be easy to get it done over here. Was stupidly upgrading the firmware at 9am this morning (I don't do mornings) so was rather asleep. Hence the screw up. Made perfect sense what happened once I thought about it.
