    Guys,
Bought a number of items off the same sell, (has 12000 sales).

I paid by pay, near 2k euro.

Then I get an email and they want my landline number, no problems.

Then I get another, we cannot ship as address unverified.

Now I have paid for this items using Paypal, but he wants to refund this and for me to pay into a bank account!!!!

    Whats he up to ???

Sounds liegit enough as stated above most sellers for expenive goods require a verified address but unfortunately only UK and US residents can have their addresses verified by paypal.

I wouldn't pay that amount by bank transfer, you'll have zero comeback and the seller will be free to walk away from you with little or no repercussion.

Maybe tell him it's not possible for anyone outside UK and US to verify the address and if he feels there might be something dodgy going on that he should contact Paypal and ask them to confirm that there is nothing suspicious going on with your account.

Otherwise, when he refunds, don't go ahead with the buy.

Aye, I have sent him a screen shot of my Paypal verified screen.

I got great bargains off him and will buy off him again IF this goes smoothly. Is it not a case that if he checks my feedback, 100%, that he will there was never an issue.

Your feedback and account status isn't really the issue. As far as he knows, someone could have hijacked your account and changed the address. Then, when the "real" you finds this out, he'd be left out of pocket after shipping to a scammer. If you were in the US or UK, there'd be no reason why your address couldn't be verified, except if you were a scammer. But we can't do it here, so people who don't realise this might think something is up, or in the case of expensive items might not want to take the chance.

From your point of view, sending money through bank transfer involves the same risk. Do you trust him enough to do it this way? Personally, I wouldn't, but if you think his feedback is good enough and are willing to risk it then it's up to you.

In the end I got copies of utility bill, drivers license and credit card statements and sscaned them in, removed the account codes and left the addresses, he seems happy with that.
