    Coming Soon in 2008....

    THE WHITE SKULLS

The White skulls are a team specify set up by Na Taibshe for the younger air softer looking to get into the sport.

They will play with and under the guidance of the Na Taibshe members and upon reaching the age of 18 they may apply to join the ghosts.

This means they will wear similar uniforms and carry similar Aeg’s and work closely with the ghosts.

People wishing to join the team please contact the team at whiteskulls@nataibhse.com

(waiver form to be filled in prior to actual membership)

This also means they will avail of the team rate at HRTA.

Hang on ,everybody wants to join the ghosts as it is ,now a junior team ,bad idea considering the contractor will follow with a junior team ,leading to a 2 team skirmish site ,

as it is, hrta is home to alot more than 2 teams anyway :p, white skull will essentially be a sub division of the ghosts

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,401 ✭✭✭Arcto

Bit off topic: Is it just the ghosts who get a team rate or does it apply to all teams? I presume to qualify for this rate you have to go to hrta alot?

I think it would be great if all the teams let under agers in
It gives them good experience, even if not to join the Ghosts after
but even possibly setting up their own team
And I've heard maybe 7 people saying something about setting up their own teams over the last few weeks, theres no shortage!
and if any of the other teams feel intimidated, why don't they start recruiting too? It's not like it's a competition

Agree 100%...its a great way to introduce younger players to the sport, and an excellent way to teach them safety and tactics. Well done Johnny & co.

I don't see this happening tbh. The ghosts and the contractors seem to be the two largest regular teams, but in general theres always more no affiliated players on the field.

Good idea from a political point of view also.....older, more experienced players taking younger players under their wings and ensuring they play/use the equipment safely etc...

actually, johnny wrote what was to be posted, i queried the mentioning of team rates and he cleared it with paul apparently....

yes, na taibhse get a team rate, but it's highly dependent on how many of the team are playing on a given day, we also do favours for paul in return, it was ourselves and the contractors that helped move everything from the old hrta to the new one

Indeed, ACU is our "Summer Wear" when the terrain is a bit drier and it works better, notice how most of us are wearing multicam at the moment?

Once a month we have a meeting
and we play as a team every Sat at HRTA
I think it's a tenner a month which included BB's for the team ammo box, and t-shirts etc etc but it might be different for the white skulls

Beware: You'd have to obey Johnny.
 Do you even know johnny?

    How young is junior?

    14-18 i think

    :cool::cool::cool:

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 594 ✭✭✭Gizmodeon

14-18 is the age for the white skulls
we can't make it any younger as 14 is the min age limit for HRTA

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 148 ✭✭JohnReisman

The age range as posted previously is wrong.

The age limit is meant to be 16-18. But on rare occasions and only in special cases we will accept players who are 15 years old.
