Going up north this weekend to stock up on booze & food for Crimbo. Does anyone have any tips on ayhting else that might be available up there?

Specifically, I'm looking for a sat-nav for the girlfriend. Are they much cheaper up there? a lot of the UK sites have the same ones as here for about €70 less, but they only deliver to mainland U.K.

Also any info on toddlers' toys and gifts for someone who just moved into a new home. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers.

Not much in Newry itself from my experience.

Drove up to Belfast on Saturday, but stopped off at The Outlet & Sprucefield Centre along the way.

The Outlet has some serious bargains on clothing, footware, sports goods and more.

Sprucefield Centre has a big and recently opened Toys R Us, a Currys and a large Sainsburys.

All east to find. Stay on the A1 from Newry (10-15 mins) and follow the signage.

Devine is right, try The Outlet, it's near enough to Newry. There's a Gap shop where I bought the most comfiest pair of jeans ever.
