Dingle waves

    That was eventful. Had to call 112 twice (poles fallen). Finally got there 8.40am, fantastic stuff.

    Have not sorted or edited the pics yet but they can be found

    class stuff! what part of dingle was it? Slea head by any chance?Did you visit fermoyle strand ?

    Best to go back to the link and click on the google maps link. Easier to see in 'Hybrid' mode. Beach is not named, has lots of 'do not swim' signs. I've mentioned the spot before as even on a calm day there are huge waves.

    The beach has a huge gradient (20% at a guess) meaning they break really late.

    If you drive around the head anti clockwise you will miss it.
