    it's a less extreme version of Atkins. I did the induction for two weeks, lost a pile of 'weight' (it was mostly water) didn't do phase two properly and ended up putting all the weight back on and then some.

    If you can stick to the guidelinees (which are effectively healthy eating guidelines) then yup, it'll work a treat. I can't remember the details of the diet though so I'd need to see the menu plans to comment better - I did the SB a looong time before I knew what I know now about food!! :D

    I have a few quibbles, like the fact that you are supposed to eat margarine rather than butter, but overall, it's a good diet.

    It's kind of the politically correct version of Atkins, no saturated fats, just some nice trans fats instead.

    But with a few modifications, you could put together a decent diet.
