Firefox/Photoshop CS3 on Leopard

    Hi guys & gals,
How's it going? Long time user, first time poster.

Just wondering if anyone is having as many problems with Firefox since upgrading to Leopard? It's crapping out on me 3 or 4 times a day, which isn't actually too bad considering I use it for at least 7 hours constantly for work, but it's just kind of annoying. It wasn't ever this bad in Tiger. Anyone having similar problems?

Also, using Photoshop CS3, I find the text input boxes, ie. the ones you use when manually inputting pixel values to resize things etc. are all messed up too.

    Any thoughts?

Firefox is fairly crappy as a browser on Mac in my opinion. It's too prone to crashes. Safari is the most stable browser by the far.

    Haven't used PSCS3 on Leopard.

firefox occasionally crashes on me, but only really seems t happen when viewing pages that have flash or flash video on them. are you running the latest version of FF?

Yup, good few CS3 issues with Leopard, nothing serious, or nothing that really interferes with daily use, but lots of little things the testers missed, boo. FF, can't comment as I never use it.

firefox is just as buggy on mac as it is in windows.

it infuriates me when i have to use it in college as i'm not using fecking internet explorer.

using firefox on leopard is not as bad though.

haven't installed CS3 yet since installing leopard.

Yeah, running the latest version of everything. I have a load of web developer extensions running in Firefox, I suspect they might have something to do with it.

I've noticed that myself about it crashing on Flash sites, most notably the Chess application on Facebook.

I've even installed the Intel optimised version of FF (BonEcho)... but to no avail.

Anyway, no worries... it's not the end of the world. Just wondering what other users thoughts were.

In hindsight, I don't think I should have been so eager to upgrade to Leopard in such a hurry, but when you get that geeky itch, you just have to scratch it.
