I have to have a little rant here before I crack up altogether.

I work on the third floor of an office in South Great Georges St in Dublin. Every day for the past while a guy comes up and stands outside one of the shops and plays his saxophone.. Nothing wrong with that.. but he plays the same song 80% of the time he is there. The other 20% he plays very very similar songs.. He is driving me and the other people in the office doo lally.

The owners of the shop come out and move him along, he moves to the next shop and so on.. This goes on from 10am till 5pm every bloody day.. I have never had such an urge to go out and kill somebody in my life. I have visions of using a gun and standing up at the office window and taking him out.

I even had a dream last night and could hear the song in the dream.

    Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Is he the same guy who pays his sax sometimes on st stephen's green? All he can play is "the saints come marching in" or similer crap like that.

Is he the guy who seemed to have 2 songs - Hark the Herald Angels sing (which he was playing in summer) and Summertime. And he wasn't even playing them well. You couldn't sing along (if you were really in the mood, like) because he left out about half the notes.

Find stuff in the office to throw out the window at him....staplers, hole-punches....those kinda things, he won't be long movin then.

Just drop a nice big bucket of water out the window on top of him. Whats he gonna do about it? nothing thats what. or smack him in the head with 1c coins, they're useless anyway and if he complains say you were supporting his busking

Didn't they licence buskers a while ago? So the cops might actually be able to do something. They clear all the beggers away right?

re: donating a bucket of water

make sure its lukewarm cos then as it cools he will feel more miserable - if u just thro.. donate cold water he will only be uncomfortable for a while til he gets used to it and warms up.

It's actually a Baritone. I work on Dame Street and he is frequently there. He does my head in - learn some more songs!

Buy him a music book with some more tunes in for him to learn.

    I hate saxophonists.
They all look like they have a stick up their arse.

That f*cker is currently right by the Central Bank playing sort of adaptation of Jingle Bells. I really, really hate him.

On a related note, I'll repeat myself: It is a baritone, not a sax

Ah, he's just gone back to When the Saints Go Marching In.
