Have Xbox 360,speakers...what do i need???

    Hi Folks
    Hope im posting in the right place!
    I have an Xbox 360 and my brother gave me the 5 speakers that he had from an old surround sound system.
    Basically what dvd player with what inputs do i need to buy to get the 5.1 surround the Xbox can output?
    Im just looking for the cheapest setup i can get as i only play xbox when kids are in bed so don't want to shake the house!
    Don't want to go to great expense when i have the speakers there.

    you may be better off posting in the xbox forum under games, I am not sure, but you will probably need either the HDTV component cable with optical in or the advanced scart cable with optical in to get going, I actually have a spare set of 5.1 speakers as well and was wondering about hooking them up, i was thinking i would need some type of av reciever to link between the speakers and the 360....
