    Move if in wrong place. My PRSI has dropped by 170 euro this month and so has my colleagues can anyone tell me why and will i be charged it back next month if wrong??

    I think that's a normal thing as the year progresses. There's a ceiling on the amount of social insurance contributions you can make in a year (although your employer carries on paying). Depending on how much you earn, that point will come at different times of the year. You carry on paying the health contribution though, which is why it doesn't reduce to zero.
