Slik pro 700 dx tripod

    Hi,
    Does anybody here know of a camera shop in the dublin area that sells this tripod. I've see them on ebay for about €130, but i would like to have a look at one before i buy

    Don't of a camera shop in Dublin but i recently bought a SLIK Pro 400 and am well impressed (€99), showed it to a colleague who has a Manfrotto and he was equally impressed. I must admimt to having never heard of this make until recently but i got to try/buy it in a shop in Kilkenny.

    ringing around the shops might be the best option

    I got my Manfrotto at Gunn's, and it cost about the same as if I bought it online. The woman there was nice enough to take two of them out of the box so I could get a good look at each

    I got this tripod in Birmingham's around a year and a half ago, i presume they still sell it.

    Hi all,
    Phoned around like you said, Berminghams and city camera both stock the Slik pro 700dx for €149.00. I reserved one to have a look at on saturday and will probably buy.
