    Morning all,

I'm looking to get a 32" LCD for the bedroom. I'm undecided between 2:
Hanspree with 1200:1 contrast or a Samsung with 7000:1 contrast (every other spec is similar). The Hanspree is €135 cheaper than the samsung.

So my question, is is it worth the extra for the samsung (for both name and contrast ratio.)

    Thanks for any help

exact same position last week, steered away from the Hanspree because of known volume problems at low volume i.e. at low volume it turns the sound off, and also the low contrast ratio, went for the Samsung on Pixmania http://www.pixmania.com/ie/uk/571144/art/samsung/le32s81-lcd-television-16.html

If you can make you way to Waterford City on Saturday morning DID are opening down here and have 30 Samsung 32 inch LCD's for €500 look like the Samsung R87 series
