Quick question. I'm buying a dell desktop online. There is no modem included. On my old pc i have a Wireless Network Card which i plan to insert into my new computer when i get it. Do i still need to purchase a modem with the new computer even though i will have the Wireless Network Card and will be connecting to broadband through wireless router?

...and you'll also need to check if there are drivers available for your wireless card so it'll work in the new machine, especially if you're getting Vista.

Sorry i just checked there. It's a Lan Card PCI which i have at back of my old pc. Basically this is an ethernet port. Will i need to transfer this to my new pc or will this already have an ethernet port? Wireless Network card not included. Should i just but this Internal wireless network card and not bother with the modem? Sorry now about all the questions..

Your new pc will have a built in ethernet port so no need to transfer the card.
If your broadband modem is close to the pc, just use a cable connection to the ethernet port. If not, get a wireless card.

You don't need an internal modem when you have broadband.
