(REQ) PS3 web browsing guid for DUMMIES

Folks,

As title asks, any help appreciated.

My PS3 only appears to be configured tyo browse Sony stuff on internet and not regular websites.

I have no PS3 instruction manual so can anyone shed any light on how to browse the net as i think i recall some folks here on Boards do surf the net via PS3?

There's not much to it really.
when you boot up the PS3 go to the Network icon and select Internet browser.
It will load up some Sony Playstation page and from that you can go to whatever site you want. Just press START and type in your web address using the virtual keyboard. Press start again and it should begin to load the page.
L1 will Browse back a page, R1 will Browse forward a papge. Circle should bring up some side menu that lets you access bookmarks and other options

yeah when the sony homepage opens press triangle and that brings up the options and pick file i think and that will let u type in whatever sites u want
