Criminal Minds?

Hi folks,

Anyone know if RTE are picking up the third season of Criminal Minds? It used to run on a Saturday night but no sign of it yet, though I think it's back in the States

Yeah its up to episode 9 or 10 of season 3 in the states, and its still as strong as ever.

No idea when its back on RTE, but its Criminal (pun intended) to have it on at the stupid timeslots that RTE insisted on using for it.

Yeah I agree!! I really hope they put it back, I thought it was great, though I've heard that Gideon has left so I'm not sure how it'll be without him.

Is it just me or do the episodes get more gruesome by the week, I'm not complaining really. Mind you Rossi(Mantegna) has been a fairly poor addition I think.

Not sure what series RTE 1 is on but they're showing it late Thurday nights/early Friday mornings these days, 01:10 this week.

That's a bit of an odd time for the first episode of a new season. It must get crappy ratings on RTE.

Yeah it's gone a bit off the boil lately, and a bit more hit n miss. It's still decent though, and could return to former glory.

He isn't much use. The main problem for me is all I can hear is Fat Tony (Simpsons).

Ye its on way too late at night!! i love it!! its also on on Living TV every friday night at 8. Its dfo my all time favourite programme!!!:):) o and mandy patkin who played gideon has left:(:(:( the show wont b the same without him!!:(:(

Living are still showing old episodes and I can't find any info on if/when they'll be showing season 3.

Mind you they're usually only about three weeks behind RTE so take that for what it's worth.

While I hate it when RTE show first runs after 11 O'Clock. I don't think this series is all that good. But it could be on earlier.

They have never shown the show in prime time so they do not know if it does well or not in an early time slot.

Not long to go! Am I right in saying it's an episode from last year that was pulled due to the Virgina Tech Massacre? So next week will be the real start of season 3?

Sort of, it was supposed to be part of season 2 but because they didn't show it due to the Virgina Tech Massacre it was re written to include the Gideon storyline and aired as the first episode of season three. So this week is the start of season three not next week.

Yes the gruesome content is higher.

I agree with you that Mantegna so far does not cut the mustard.

RTE showed the first episode of the new series of criminal minds, but the last two weeks have been repeats...it's annoying to say the least, the first episode was a cliffhanger!

series 3 of criminal minds is on Saturday 9 February on RTE 1 at 11.00 pm (approx) RTE showed the start of series 3 in error on jan 10, it should have been the first ep of the repeat of series 2...D'oh!:rolleyes:

I agree that Rossi has been poor as a character. However last week's episode with the female FBI agent who was like a younger version of him did offer a better insite into his character.

I know! I actually went to the bother of emailing rte couple of weeks ago and got a reply from info officer that it would be on tonight at 11... "Bernie" was obviously havin a laugh:mad:

When RTE started showing repeats I didn't know when the new series started and fell behind. Been meaning to catch up, I really liked it.

I emailed RTE, they had no shedueled date as yet to air Series 3 of Criminal Minds:(, but they said that they will be playing the first episode again to launch the series...whenever that will be...

Great show, I just hope the don't start down the path of other programmes that think I'm (as a viewer, not going to speak on anyone else's behalf) interested in the personal lives of the characters.

god i hope they do show it on RTE as i so love that show. got myself the first two series on dvd. in the middle of watching them at the moment. the more i watch mattew gruber the more i just love him. and of course the woman who plays penolepe garcia.

Her relationship with Morgan?? (the african-american character) is possibly the most nauesating element of any program currently on TV.
