    People, I broke up with my girlfriend of just over 2 years last week. It was not so much a bad break up , we discussed things over the phone at great length but we have decided to meet in person today to discuss things face to face.

    She has told all her friends,family we have split and it was my decision so she has been "dumped" as she keeps telling me.

    The past 2 days especially i have been enevitably missing her , I knew it would be hard but not this hard. I am thinking now that I have made a rash decision breaking up.

    I want to tell her this and to be honest all the pro's outweigh the cons in our relationship. I really dont know what to do. if i tell her its over that will be the final nail in the coffin but if we get back what is worrying me most is the reception i get from her family and friends as they were never my biggest fan to be honest.

    I am considering telling her I dont want to break up now but need to have more space over the next while and also that there are a lot of things we need to work on. Things really do have to change , I know i cannot walk back into the relationship I have just come out of but I dont think I have been particularily fair to her by breaking up so quickly and not giving her the chance to do anytyhing about it.

    As I said I am very worried about her friends and family it will be extremely embarrassing

    Please urgent advice is needed so badly!
