I have been looking at the burris black diamond 8-32x50mm scope with the balistic mil dot ret !

I have read a lot of reviews and seen loads of scopes in the flesh, the questions I have are has anyone here got one of these ?

Is there much difference from the fullfield 11 and the black diamond ??

    http://www.opticsplanet.net/burris-8-32x50mm-black-diamond-rifle-scope.html

Any pros or cons I might not know about ? Anyone want to recommend an alternative around the same price range ?

Thanks for any help you can offer me !

Zeiss Conquest series or even a fixed magnification Kahles or Swarowski, Schmidt&Bender would be another step up. At that price level you're touching the top notch German and Austrian stuff. Having said that for the money your looking at paying the Burris should be quality as well.

I have a black diamond Burris in 4-16-50 in mil dot and very happy with it BUT and I say BUT its not as good as you'd hope for the money if you plan to use it stalking deer late evening you'll notice this after when you look thru a top end scope and i even changed to a meopta scope that was cheaper but its way better late evening it even beats my Leopold binos ........spent a bit more go for top end stuff Kahles or Swarowski, Schmidt&Bender its a investment ....maybe even forget the mildot you won't use it ...i don't

have a look here http://www.eurooptic.com/products/catalog.asp?vendor=Zeiss they are much cheaper and will deliver to ireland i should receive my zeiss 6.5x20x50 on monday, alex the owner will arrange the export license and you will have the scope in 3 to 4 weeks, but be warned you will have to pay tax when it arrives in ireland it cost me €160 but the 4x14x50 is €1250 here.
