Wanted: Bodies and body parts

As some of you know, I'm doing a project where I need to build some movie props for a neo-earth style setting. Several of them are rifles and I need body kits and any parts to experiment on. I have a few things in mind so anything that's a little unusual helps. Obviously I'll pay up the readies for whatever you have lying around. If anyone has an XM8 I will kiss you and then pay you.

My brother has an old Umarex AK-47 somewhere i'll ask does he wanna chop it in, how much would you give him?

It's more composite looking stuff I need, the rifles I'm putting together are going to be lit and are supposed to be using a power cell as ammo. As such, light an AK is gonna make it more like a blingin' AK than some sort of energy weapon

Have a reasonably good-quality M92F springer if it's any use - got it weekend before last from chalky re. my own (zombie) project, didn't have the heart to turn him down (even though I'd since posted I wouldn't be going ahead with project on account of too much to do with IAA and whatnot = not enough time).

Plastic and metal, quite heavy, ready to be "Anime'd / Post-apocalyps'd". I'll be at HRTA this Saturday, so just let me know

Ok sorry dex! I dunno vtec probably around €30-€40, it's not a great looking gun though by any stretch of the imagination i must add! Trigger seems to be broken but it was firing ok albeit with a very low fps...

is it just the shell you need, i have an old g36c lying around, its pants but looks ok. i'll have a look and post a pic

That would be excellent. I had an thought about a powerpack based gun if I could get any G36 variant bodies and I've been experimenting on my own. If you have it all it'd rock. How much would you want for it?

hi ambro, just wondering if ya still have this, im looking for a set of grips for a GBB M9 so they might fit, how much ya looking for it?

They have the aeg version on rsov and gunner. The springer version would be handy to have something to experiment on but I want to make an auto one for myself just to have in case I decide to go back and take the college up on that offer of a placement (I'd need a portfolio and these would be nice to have in it).

cover postage and it yours, think it might be in the attic, how quick do you need it?

No rush anymore, the project has hit a mahoosive snag but I'm balls-deep in drawings, schematics and circuits so I'm gonna make them anyway. I will still take it if you don't want it though.

Hey vtec - sry, missed your post awhile.

Be aware outer barrel (plastic) has a bad transversal crack halfway, as if it had been dropped on a corner - does not affect performance (which is meh-to-acceptable), but just to be thorough/honest.

Pics attached, is boxed with manual, grips are standard (removable by unscrewing screws), €5 will do.

No likely to be at HRTA again this side of Xmas, but can sort a meet in town or at AGM Sunday.

I you have it, I will take it. I'm not gonna be up tomorrow though. I gotta see the doc in the morning and I may have to head to the hospital afterwards so I'll get it off you next week? How much again?

Well I've moved back to Meath so I'll be around HRTA next weekend but apart from a brief sojurn to Blanch tomorrow I won't be around until then as I've to work all week and there's a 50:50 chance I'll be in hospital for the weekend (fun times in Casa Dex).

So if you're around Blanch tomorrow, I can get it from you then some time in the morningish time slot. If not, I'll get it off you next time you're in HRTA
