I saw someone last night with a Gold Desert Eagle! He seemed to be one-shoting a lot of people....

I checked through my "Create a Class" settings and I cant see a D-Eagle any where?

Perhaps I just missed it but I thought I would ask in case everyone knows about some secret weapon stash that I'm oblivious too

It's one of the side arms and should be listed there. The golden version of weapons is available once all the related challenges are done.

Does it ever give you the chance to use say the uzi as a side arm?

yeah theres a perk called overkill which allows you to take 2 primary weapons instead of a sidearm.

right so if you comeplete all the mp5 challenges you can get a golden mp5??

I hate the desert eagle, its such a media bitch of a gun just like the barret

who in their right mind would bring a .50 AE into a tactical situation as a sidearm. No ****ing way I would if my life depended on it :mad:


Also to Br4tPr1nc3, why do you hate bolt action rifles??

normal deagle at lvl 45 gold plated one at lvl 55 dont like it myself prefer the 9mm handguns

I love the Deagle!

There are other golden guns but you have to finished every challenge for the class of guns, like finish every SMG challenge to get a gold Uzi!

the fact that you can just continually let rip of bullets.

Overkill perk is pointless, you can just pick up a gun but you can't pick up stopping power, so i think it's better just to pick one of those perks.

if you just go with bandoleer perk,
then you definately dont need the overkill,
although on a hardcore server with a good few people, its hard to run out of bullets to need another gun.

On hardcore.....the Desert Eagle is 2 shot kill Max....mostly 1 shot 1 kill

Ive created a class specifically for it as my main weapon...disregarding the 1st weapon completely :D

Id be in total favour of the option to dual wield 2 desert eagles
