Your Top 5 PS3 Games ???

I'm looking to buy another game for my ps3 but am having a hard time trying to decide what to get.

I already have pro evo 2008 ... can people give their top five and il try decide from that ... cheers:)

Wait a week and get Uncharted which is getting great reviews and seems to be the first good exclusive for the PS3. Ratchet and Clank is out but despite a few good reviews I wasn't entirely convinced. Found the demo to be generic platformer fare.

Got to say Ratchet and plank blew me away., starts off slow but really picks up once you get more and more gadgets. Have'nt played a platformer in years, so then again i might be too easily impressed.

Motorstorm is a must.
Like retro said, wait for uncharted.

Ratchet and Clank is a great game.

Oblivion, Skate and Fifa are my other favourites.

Played Uncharted to the end and thought it was one of the best games of the year. Also played rachet and Clank to the end and it's also awesome.

Haze will be out just after Xmas and that looks ace as well.

Alot of people are going for uncharted gonna read some more reviews but this looks to be the early favourite

You said you had pro evo 2008 - what cars does it have on the game? does it have Audi A4s and Twin Cams?? I want to get the other half a good game for xmas and he said he seen a racing game that featured these type of cars??

sure its a kids game..... what age are all ye who are talking about it out of curiousity(not been smart but i cant tell through writing)...... Get Rainbox 6 Las Vegas.... Stroy mode left a bitter taste, but the online is some buzz, prob best game i played online so far, Ghost Recon was good enough too!!..... not really much out for the PS3 in fairness....

Motorstorm didn't impress me that much at all? I enjoyed resistance online. I've COD4 on the Xbox 360 and its the best online game your gonna get.

Ratchet and Clank is amazing, COD4 is absolutely brilliant, especially online, Rainbow 6 vegas is really good, but I find it hard to play after COD4, Warhawk is great, plus there's 5 new maps and a new vehicle coming for it next month, which I'm looking forward to. I loved skate too. So my list would probably be

1: Call of Duty 4
2: Ratchet and Clank
3: Warhawk
4: Rainbow 6 Vegas
5: Fight Night Round 3

I should have Rock Band by the weekend, so expect that to top the list once I have torn myself away from it!

1. Ratchet & Clank
Starts a little slow but just gets better and better as you go on. I think this game ruined Mario Galaxy for me because I can't stand Mario's poor camera and controls by comparison.

2. Heavenly Sword
Really great story and characters, and the levels where you play as Kai were some of the best levels I've played through in any game. The actual fighting wasn't great but the game had so many other elements making up for it.

3. Super Stardust HD
Most addictive old fashioned high-score shooter I've played, action packed with a lot of depth and a brilliant co-op mode.

4. Formula 1 Championship Edition
Really only a graphical step forward from the PS2 version, but the PS2 version was already the best F1 game since Bizarre Creations were making them back in 1997, with the extra layer of polish this was a fantastic racing game.

5. Rainbow Six: Vegas
Best FPS of this generation IMO, combined great level design, solid controls and impressive AI to make for really great tactical play.

My Assassin's Creed is (STILL) in the post and I've not played Uncharted yet, aside from the demo which was solid but I'm not totaly sold yet.

Honorable mention for Loco Roco as the best value game ever.

In no order:
1. Call of Duty 4, absolutely AMAZING online.
2. Heavenly Sword, absolutely beautiful.
3. Assassins Creed, fantastic.
4. Rainbow 6 Vegas, good online but nowhere near as good as COD4.
5. Uncharted: Drakes Fortune looks like an awesome game. Should be out in a week or two.

Also worth a mention: Half Life 2, best FPS in years, also due out in about two weeks.

Thought Heavenly Sword was very poor. Doesn't matter that it was pretty, it was a chore to play and a bit short. I'd rent but even then I wouldn't waste your money. If you didn't play it on the xbox then Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a far superior alternative.

ninja gaiden sigma was a chore to play. I thought the days of enemies respawning when you enter a room you've just cleared were long gone until i started playing that. When it was good (boss battles etc.) it was good but most of the time Ninja Gaiden Sigma was just tedious.

1.oblivion,great rpg and i just got shivering isles which makes it bigger

1) ratchet & clank future: tools of destruction (one of the best games of all time imo)
2) uncharted: drakes fortune (another absolute belter of a game)
3) guitar hero 3
4) fifa 08 (as mentioned above best football game to date, absolutely amazing)
