ADLER'S APPETITE, has issued the following statement on the matter:

"We sincerely apologize to all our friends and fans for the cancellation of this tour. Of course, Steven loves to play and meet his fans. Unfortunately, he has some personal issues that prevented him from participating. He was optimistic about doing the shows, but when it came down to it, he just couldn't. Steven's like a brother to us, and we just want to see him healthy. We're looking forward to making up these shows next year. Please forgive us, and thank you for your patience and understanding. Peace."

Guns N Roses fired Steven Adler in 1989, saying his drug use was harming his performance. In 1993, the band agreed to pay him $2.3 million to settle Adler's lawsuit claiming a 1990 agreement by which he gave up his interest in the band was read to him and signed without his attorney present.

It just goes to show you he is just seriously messed up, and its a miracle hes still breathing, I'm suprised that he has the nerve to even book shows. For the record he was performing in Belfast, Donegal and another venue in the North of Ireland. Adlers Appetite played Whelans in Feb 2006

I don't think we'll see him here again......it's a sad sad story really, just can't see him getting out of the hole he's in, seems to be very easily led and always ends up surrounding himself with somebody that harms him.......I really don't see the point in him touring anyway, when was the last time he finished a run of dates ??
