Exteranl USB Drive Problem

    Hi Folks,

    I just got two new external USB HDDs which created an Extended FAT32 on the drives. These are fine under windows however not so under OS-X (10.4.11). When plugged in they do not automatically mound and are not showing up under Disk Utility. I have windows running via Paralells and they dont pick up the drives either. I also have a USB thumb drive formated in FAT32 that it is being recognised by OSX and Windows Paralells no problem. Im truely baffled and google isnt helping at all :-(
