My rapidShare seems to have just stopped working. It started about 2 weeks ago, im only getting around to fixing it now. I have a premium account and im using RapGet. I add links, the icon changes to that little clock and it just loops in a 5 minute waiting state. The download never starts, it waits 5 minutes and then the clock is just set back to 5 mins :(.
    Any ideas?

Mine has been working fine. Have you set it to direct downloads, on options in the premium zone?

    Everything is fine now....

Theres a sticky on warez-bb about it...

Same way,it just seems to work for some reason....

Install idm,go to downloads, options, write in site logins eg http://rapidshare.com user (****) pass (******)

    http://i7.tinypic.com/8dxuvi9.jpg

    Right click

    Click on download with idm

    http://i12.tinypic.com/6lno3uo.jpg

Tick all the boxs and download

Flashget wasnt working for me last week so I started using idm and everything is fine now...

I'm using Rapget 1.39 with BT broadband and it's fine. Could your Firewall be blocking Rapget maybe?

If you put any of the links in the browser, is it valid and working?

rapget is the most temperamental software ever! Its perfect when it works , oh but when it decides not to work! its just awful!

Cheers squall, gonna give that go now.

jor el, i haven't changed any settings and im just using the standard XP firewall. Will turn it off and see if that helps.
Hopefully IDM will sort my problem.

Well it still doesnt seem to be working :(. IDM tells me the server is unavailable. When i try browse the rapidshare links im getting :

    Network Error (tcp_error)

    A communication error occurred: ""
The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.

For assistance, contact your network support team.

That appears for any rapidshare link i try. I can't even access the homepage.

Is anyone else still having this issue. I cannot even access the main page www.rapidshare.com, www.rapidshare.de works fine as does any other page but not rapidshare.com. Again using a different ISP, even Eircom, te links work fine!
