Broken metertarsal

    I know a lad that just broke his metertarsal, is there anything he can do to stay fit while he recovers as he' s expected to be out for 4-6 weeks?

    Have a google and see if you can find out what Rooney, Owen, Beckam et al did.

    I'm fairly sure after a week or two they were all able to cycle, but don't take that as gospel.

    I think they were all doing aqua-jogging. I think you can do it in the NAC in Blanchardstown but not sure what it costs. He'd probably have to wait until the cast comes off to do that or go swimming.
