    Hi,

My father has recently upgraded to Sky+, so I decided to take his box, as mine is at least 4 years old. My old box in a panasonic, and my father's one that I am taking is a Pace. I have set it up in my house and inserted my sky card. I have most of the channels, but when I go into the sports and movies it says: "Please insert the correct sky card for this box".

How do I match up my sky card to the new box that I received from my father?

    Cheers.

Ring sky and ask them to pair the card to a new box. They'll walk you through the steps.

    Is that my only option?

    yes.
Sky don't mind either. You own both boxes, not sky.

They only object if you keep swapping every weekend :)
