AVG Results -Please Help!!

    Hi, I have been getting the results attached, I tried turning off system restore then running, Trojan Remover, Ad-Aware Se personal and they didn't help. My Avg still gives the same results. My Spybot won't seem to work! I removed it and reinstalled a new version that won't work either, I get an error ever time a scan is is progress. Can anyone help?

    P.s I contacted Microsoft and the did an automated scan, and they said that I have some corrupt files and if I wanted them fixed they'd charge 45 sterling. I'm sure there is a better way

    If you wanted to approach anyone, it would be AVG. As for Microsoft's input, if indeed any of those files were corrupt, you wouldn't be able to boot into Windows :)

    Maybe you applied a Windows update which modified those files?

    Thanks for that, I found out through the AVG forums how to solve the results, as you said they were just reg changes made by updates. I didn't get a report from Microsoft to say what files were corrupt, so I'll wait till my computer starts complaining to look at that issue.
