Ok, this is really annoying me and Im at my wits end here, I was away during the summer and my bro was living in my room and he decided to download some porn. He thought he deleted it all before I got back but there is one file that wont shift and my pc has been running really slowly and I have a feeling its to do with this. I can delete it, move it to another folder, rename it, I cant click on its properties or anything. Ive tried safe mode as well. Anybody any ideas? Thanks

Have you tried using System Restore to restore your PC a previous state? It doesn't delete files that were created since then but it might get rid of the nasties.

Download HijackThis and do the following...

jaysus, i would have taken the approach of patting my brother on the back and keeping the porn on my PC...

did u try running a spyware scan and a virus scan tho? I think I actually had that problem once aswell...long time ago when i used Limewire (bad idea)

Couldn't do anything with the file. Usually happens cuz its a virus, or really powerful spyware

Deleting it in Safe Mode will do the job. If not then try the HijackThis instruction above, just be careful you don't delete any legit files. I would suggest posting a HijackThis log here as well.
