I used to like thursday it used to be the lads regular pool session but everyone has drifted away and gone are the days of pool and all night drinking followed by horrendous hangovers on Fridays in work:(

    I miss them days

Actually just realised its only winter Thursdays that are crap. Stupid dark at 6 o'clock.

Roll on christmas then roll on the summer.

But surely when you get as drunk as much as you do Mr Terry, the whole getting drunk thing gets a bit boring?

Like, Pighead loves Alpen, and on the odd occasion my butler makes it for me they're is genuine excitement inside Pigheads belly. But if it were being served up every single day that excitement would wear off and be in grave danger of turning into boredom. Just thinking aloud here.

Or is Pighead speaking horsepoo again?

    Good day sir.

You must just live for the weekends, don't just live for the weekends live for the week.
    Each day is a gift.

Not really. I play sports a couple of days a week and always look forward to those days.

Just nothing to do on Thursdays. But then again I think its the whole winter thing as well. Hate it.

I tend to just spend my Thursdays eating; eating far too much.

Are you ever not drunk ;)

And to answer the question; not as boring as Wednesdays but not as exciting as Friday.

    Nope - eircom!

The only one we could get in our area was the 1MB Home Starter (for now) fuggit! But....it's 100 times faster (at least...) than the horrible dial-up, AND we can use phone at same time as net AND it's going to save us hundreds per month :D

Good tv on a Thursday imo...

I don't get bored on a Thursday but it's usually the day when I "hit the wall", much like Marathon runner who has eaten too many mars bars along the route or suicide case who feels they can't one more day of this awful awful world.

Thursday is that day that's just kind of there. Post-mid week yet pre-end week. In this way it has become the day in which all I actually do is wait until it's Friday.

And when Friday comes I kind of think "Meh, wasn't work waiting for." and so I wait until Christmas. Then I will be happy for another year of Thursdays. :)

    ...

I just watch some old TV on the computer.

I like Thursdays. They're generally quiet and unassuming, but they can surprise you. Like today, when I woke up to find two rather hot men delivering new couches, and someone gave me a massive Toblerone. MMhm, Thursday!

I presume the toblerone is a metaphor?

yeah, did those 2 hot guys give you the massive toblerone, or was it just because you had just woken up?

Today must have been the most boring Thursday I've ever had, I was bored numb in work. I liberally took 2 hours break and got so bored because I had crap all to do on the floor that I brought the book I was reading down with me, hid and read it.

Another Thursday, but doesn't seem as boring. Is it the christmas cheer? Who knows.

What will you be doing tonight? Going on the piss? Visiting the granny? Sitting down watching "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire", googling the answers and shouting them at the still considering contestant?

For me its mostly eating quality street and maybe a bit of study. Maybe...
