Experienced Bassist & Drummer Required For (dublin based) Eclectic Covers Band

Hi Folks,

We (2 x guitars + Vocalist) are looking for an experienced bassist & drummer (double bass ability a distinct advantage) for our covers band. We have ambitions to play everything from Classic Rock, R n' B, Funk, to Metal (from old school to contemporary) and in fact any great song as long as it's not too pop or indie (no indie.... die!!!:))

We're just coming out of a long stint with the band Never say Die. We have a ton of gigs under our belts and are capable of playing almost any style. (bar jazz!!! Although we like jazzy fusion stuff a la steely dan .. 70's prog a la Yes & Rush)

You should obviously have your own (quality) gear. Be level headed and open minded. Have some groove, chops & above all a fair bit of charisma.

Backing vocals abilities would be a great advantage as a lot of that 70's stuff feature 3 or 4 part harmonies and we'd like to stay true to it.

We're going to pick 30 odd songs. Learn them quickly and gig the **** out of them. Make some money on the way and have a bloody good time bleeding ears country wide!!!!!

Thanks Baggio. Eoin is a pretty killer vocalist. He can sing anything from Freddy Mercury to Rob Halford.

Alright, I like what you lads are planning. A set of different types of music, that sounds good. I'm a drummer 24 based on the northside of Dublin. I have gigging experience and a wide range in musical taste,from rythm & blues to funk to classic rock to metal to prog rock to contemporary. If your still auditioning let me know. Sound lads!
