    Hi Guys,

    Padraig06 asked us (Poker Ireland) to run a satellite for the IPC ticket which was donated by Party Poker during the Simon Community Charity Fundraiser.

    Obviously we want to raise the full value of the ticket to give to the Simon so here are the details of the satellite we are running next week;

    Thursday 29th November, Westbury Card Club, The Green, Malahide, Co. Dublin;

    8pm Start (sharp, late entries for first two levels).

    Buy-in €100 + €10 (Freeze-out)

    Blind Structure;
    25 - 50, 50 - 100, 75 - 150, 100 - 200, 150 - 300, 200 - 400, 300 - 600, 400 - 800, 500 - 1,000, 800 - 1,500, 1,000 - 2,000, 1,500 - 3,000, 2,000 - 4,000, 3,000 - 6,000.

    20 minute blind levels (may be altered to 25 minute levels depending on number of players but we want the tournament to finish before 2am).

    Fully dealer dealt.

    Tournament Directors are Derek Williams and Stephen Mc Lean.

    Hope to get a good turnout for this, cash option is available but we would like to raise the €2,000 for the Simon Community so hope players will support this.

    At 6pm in the Westbury club there will be a free-roll for a €100 + €10 ticket into the tournament at 8pm

    Forgot to mention - 6,000 starting chips for this Thursday's tournament.

    Don't know if there is much interest in the IPC ticket but there is a cash alternative.

    We plan to run Irish Open satellites starting next week (Thursday 6th December) in Malahide so hope we get a bit of support for these.....Again cash is always an option.

    Don't forget about the free-roll this Thursday at 6pm in the Westbury (One ticket to the €110 tournament guaranteed even if only one player shows up :)).

    No problem Seán, will do......

    Getting a bit of interest in this now. I would expect 15 - 20 runners as its our first week......We'll be altering the structure to make sure it runs from 8pm til (at the latest) 2am.....Cash games are very healthy in the club now too and usually get going around 11pm.

    Bump,

    Got another call about this tournament yesterday so we might get a few in for it....Hope we get the 20 runners so that we at least have the option of the ticket.

    what time is the free roll, and when you say FREE do you really mean FREE

    does that mean you are actually giving a FREE ticket to the winner of the FREE ROLL to your tournament at 8 o clock ?

    if thats the case, i will definitely make it for the FREE competition

    i might even stay for the comp if i am feeling lucky, but dogged / rivered

    will there be any other women there ? i dont mind being the only 1, but i wish more would play and make it more of a social thing

    Phil

    Hi Phil,

    Free-roll starts at 6pm and it is what it says - Free....No re-buys, just free entry and winner gets a ticket into the 8pm game....We're hoping to get a couple of €10 and €20 sit & go's organised too.

    Look forward to seeing you there.

    Stephen.

    Just one last reminder about this for tonight.

    Thanks to all for the support with this tournament yesterday.

    We'll build this up to a regular 2 table tournament in no time and when the Irish Open sats start we're hoping to get at least 30 runners every week.

    Only 10 players last night so we're going to try to raise enough for the IPC satellite again next week. Free-roll again next week starting at 7pm sharp and main event starting at 8pm.

    Cheers,
    Stephen.
