3 spoke aero dynamic wheels

    I was just curious are 3 spoke aero dynamic wheels allowed on bikes in traithlon races. I was just concerned before I purchased them whether or not it was legal to use them for safety reasons. The wheels I am thinking of getting are something like the below.

    I think that they are perfectly legal in triathlons.
    Wheelworx bike shop has triathlon wheels and they vary between deep rim to spokeless wheels.

    Art McManusa had 3 spoke wheels in the Dublin City Triathlon this year so I assume that they are legal.

    trispokes are legal,

    some of the old spinergies are not (very sharp edges)
