Almost completed my diy 1x12 cab, so for my next project I have an RG321 that I have pencilled in for some surgery over the next few months.

As yet I don't quite know what I want to do with it, the usual pup change is on the cards........I'm open to suggestions.
So, what would you do if you had an RG that you could mod?

Add piezo saddles, and have an electric/acoustic.

I'd put a Lindy Fralin in the neck, and put in a switch to split the coils. Maybe overwound, but I'd be thinking about how the amp sounds.

Hmmm swirls always made me queasy :p

Being googlin' there for a while to see what others have done, lots of talk but no action. Only came across a couple of mods of the old RG.
Anywho, back to the search engine......

Take a look at this: http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/sevenstring-org-workbench/7162-tech-rg7321-piezo-install.html

It's a piezo mod for a RG7321, which is the 7 string version of the RG321, and it's basically the same, so it's a good guide if you want to go that route.
