    Hi,
I bought a bose wave system in the USA it is 110v. I had intended
to buy a step down transformer and use it in ireland. When i checked the wattage with bose support they told me that it wont work here and i need to send it to the uk to have it changed to suit 220v at a cost of £150 . Does any one have any experience of this?

You'll probably have more luck asking in the instruments or recording forum.
