Can anyone help? New to this... I'm getting broadband in next week.
    It's 3MB Always on 30GB download / unlimited upload.

The 30GB download... does that mean the total of site suffing a month or total of mp3s and files downloaded a month.?

    Thanks for any help.

    Chris

You'd get a better response in the Broadband forum.

But basically it takes into consideration all information that is seen by your PC. Be it images on a site to Music downloaded or even YouTube videos streamed as all this info has to be stored temporarily on your Hard Drive before you can see it.

If I am wrong on this someone please correct me.

The download is EVERYTHING. All webpage content, Skype, email, ftp, bittorrant, actual downloads etc.. Watching videos can really eat it.
It doesn't make any difference whether or not the info is temporally stored on disk.
