Redundancy calculations

Hi everyone, I'll be entitled to a redundancy payment of approximately 34k in about a months time. As far as I'm aware, the first 23k is untaxed since it's my first redundancy. Any idea about how much tax I'll have to pay on the remaining 11k? Also, can I reclaim that tax in any way once I finish? All help appreciated!

afaik the first 10k odd is tax free along with 765 for each full year worked in employment.

They are extremely helpful in answeing queries regards redundancy caluclations.
