Cocktail Stuff

    Just got myself a nice cocktail shaker and will be getitng some spirits and juices the weekend, but does anyone know if there is a shop in or around town that sells cocktail glasses and bits and bobs you may need for cocktails, also crushed ice where can i get that as ill need it for Mohitos (i haven't seen it anywhere just normal ice cubes)

    Urban Outfitters is usually good for that sort of thing. If you were born in or around the 1970s the only known way to get crushed ice is via a Mr Frosty.

    Get yourself a tough plastic bag, or just double up a load of supermarket vegetable bags, pop the ice in and smack it with a bit of wood or hammer on a bread board.

    I have a mini blender, you pop ice in with the drink and whizz it up and it crushes it.

    I got one in DID for about €30. It broke after a week though, but they did replace it no questions asked.
