I am an American applying to the Professional Diploma in Accounting program. Can anyone give me an idea of what the course is like? Also, does anyone know about the acceptance rate of International Students? I have a B.A. in English, and I graduated with a 3.1 GPA. Depending on where I turn for conversion, it has been said to be equivalent to a 2.2 or a 2.1. Does anyone know what the job outlook is for an international graduate of that program in Ireland? Any information about the program will be helpful. Thanks.

might get a better response in the accounting forum in terms of outlook for international students but it seems that the big 4 at least have no probs taking on int. students. DCU accept people on the course with a 2.2 so i dont think it would make a difference what your degree equates to. have you tried applying the the firms directly?
