    hi
im interested in oil painting, especially the photo-realistic techniques of artists like caravaggio. i was wondering does anyone know a good book that explains caravaggios technique, or the technique of classical painting in general? all i can find on the net are general biographies of caravaggio and the like, not much on how they actually painted.
    thanks
